Deliver HOT Meals on Christmas Day to Homebound Seniors

Do you have a couple of hours available on Christmas day and want to do something charitable? How about delivering a hot meal to seniors in Schenectady County!  This is a great activity to include younger family members and inspire a charitable spirit.

When:  Christmas (Dec 25)
Where: Salvation Army @ 222 Lafayette St., Schenectady
Time: Arrive at 10am (most routes are completed by 12:30pm)

For more information and/or reserve a route, call Shannon Popp at 518-372-5667 by December 17 for Christmas deliveries.

"I wasn't sure what to expect my first time delivering meals and didn't know if I had the time. What I found was I was able to get my own food prepared AND have time to give to others.  My boyfriend now helps me and we do both Thanksgiving and Christmas food deliveries.  The activity is extremely appreciated amongst the recipients and the Salvation Army event volunteers.  It is a joyful time of year and our hearts are so full when the activity is complete."  Anonymous
