Program Manager - Meals on Wheels
Catholic Charities Senior & Caregiver Support Services is looking for a Program Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the home delivered meals program. As a member of the management team of Catholic Charities Senior & Caregiver Support Services, the Program Manager is a vital member of a team of professionals delivering services to the seniors within the community.
Some typical duties and responsibilities of the Program Manager include:
- Provide initial home visit Assessment to Meals on Wheels applicants for service.
Provide ongoing eligibility assessment of clients.
Hire, arrange training, and supervise drivers and office personnel.
Arrange for substitute drivers as needed.
Be prepared in an emergency to deliver meals on a route – weekdays and weekends.
Ensure monthly reports and billing is completed on time.
- Enter participant demographic data and units of service on a monthly basis.
Additionally, the Program Manager works in a manner that ensures HIPAA compliance as well as client and employee confidentiality are maintained in all communications whether written, oral or electronic formats.
The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field and a minimum of one or more years of experience in supervision. Advanced training in human relations, psychology and supervisory experience are preferred. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience (professional or volunteer) may be substituted.
This is a full time, weekday position based in Schenectady. Travel within Schenectady and the surrounding areas is required; therefore, a valid driver license and personal vehicle are required.
