Catholic Charities Senior Services in Schenectady provides an array of services to seniors in Schenectady County including transportation, senior dining centers, home delivered meals, an aging services information, referral and case work program, and an adult day care program.
Services Available
- Nutrition program for the elderly, which includes senior dining centers at 4 locations throughout Schenectady County, as well as a home-delivered meal program for home-bound seniors.
- Senior transportation programs, offering safe, affordable and fully accessible transport to medical care and senior dining centers, as well as individualized destinations (e.g. personal shopping, visits with friends/family, religious services, etc) weekdays and weekends.
- Day Haven social-model adult day care program.
- Aging services information, assistance and case work program, which includes case work assistance, health insurance information and referrals for various social service needs.
- Nutrition Outreach and Education (Food Stamp advocacy) program for seniors.
